Kachchi Biryani

Kachchi Biryani is a cusine from Hydrabad( India) and Bengal.
  Chicken legs 1 Kilogram
  Basmati rice 600 Gram
  Sliced onions 4 Medium
  Ginger paste 10 Gram
  Garlic paste 12 Gram
  Red chili powder 8 Gram
  Coriander leaves 1 Bunch (100 gm)
  Mint leaves 1 Bunch (100 gm)
  Green chilies 4
  Green cardamoms 5
  Cloves 6
  Cinnamon 1 (About 2 Inch)
  Peppercorns 5 Gram
  Mace 3 Gram
  Curds 200 Gram
  Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
  Milk 100 Milliliter
  Saffron 2 Gram
  Oil 100 Milliliter
  Ghee 30 Milliliter
  Salt To Taste

• Pick, wash and soak the rice for 30-40 minutes. And biol it double quantity of water for 2-3 min. Heat oil in a pan and fry the sliced onions till golden brown. Keep aside.
• Finely chop the coriander and mint leaves. Grind the green chillies to a fine paste.
• Soak the saffron in warm milk. Grind mace, green cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon and peppercorn to a fine powder.
• In a bowl, mix together well beaten curds, red chilli powder, salt, ginger-garlic paste, green chilli paste, mint and coriander leaves, lemon juice, powdered spices and fried onions (crush the onions before adding them).
• Rub the chicken legs with this marinade and marinate it for 2 hours.

I have to try this Kacchi Biryani to get it right ? Does only soaking the rice without cooking it make it edible enough ? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks, Thanks to highlite my mistake in recipe. Rice must be boil in double quantity of water,approximately 2-3 min. Rice must too hard for preparation in a Biryani.

opps seems she still dont realize whats wrong with her resipe ok now put oil in pot n garam masala then all ingredent in pot stir bhunofy a little n spread rice on top n sprinkle saffron milk n a bit ghee n bit sabit zeera keep it on high flame for two then on low for half n hour
