Enjoy a refreshing Oriental Beef And Vegetables that is truly delicious. A tempting non-vegetarian recipe made with beef and veggies is very simple to prepare and makes everyone want it again-n-again.
  Boneless top sirloin steak 1 Pound
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Dry sherry 2 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Brown sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Vegetable oil 2 Teaspoon
  Frozen pea pods 6 Ounce, thawed (1 Package)
  Sweet red pepper 1 Medium, cut into strips
  Canned water chestnuts 8 Ounce, drained

Slice steak diagonally across grain into 2 1/4 x 1/2 inch strips.
In medium bowl, combine garlic, soy sauce, sherry, water, cornstarch, brown sugar, ginger and mustard.
Add beef, mix well and refrigerate 30 minutes.
Drain, reserving marinade.
Place beef and oil in 2-quart oblong glass baking dish.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at high (10) 8 to 10 minutes, until beef is no longer pink; stir after 5 minutes.
Add reserved marinade, pea pods, red pepper and water chestnuts.
Microwave at high (10) 7 to 9 minutes until sauce is thickened and vegetables are crisp-tender; stir after 4 minutes.
