Artichoke Hearts Au Gratin

Ingredients
  Frozen artichoke hearts 18 Ounce
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1 Dash
  Onion salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
  Grated swiss cheese 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Fine dry bread crumbs 1 Tablespoon
  Paprika To Taste
Directions

Cook artichokes as directed on the pkg.
Drain.
Reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
Melt butter in saucepan.
Stir in seasonings and flour.
Gradually stir in artichoke liquid and milk.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir hot sauce gradually into egg and half of cheese.
Blend well.
Put artichokes in a layer in shallow baking dish.
Cover with sauce.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese, the crumbs and paprika.
Bake in a preheated very hot oven of 450 degrees for about 15 minutes.
