Artichoke, Mozzarella and Salami Pizza
|Basic pizza dough||1⁄2|
|Olive oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Mozzarella||9 1⁄2 Ounce, thinly sliced (300 Gram)|
|Milano salami||3 1⁄2 Ounce, thinly sliced (100 Gram)|
|Canned artichoke hearts||4 , thinly sliced lengthways|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
1. Roll dough into rectangle 1cm/1/2 in thick and press into a lightly oiled, shallow 28x18cm/11 x7 in tin and bring dough up at edges to form a slight rim. Brush with olive oil.
2. Place slices of mozzarella, slices of salami and slices of artichoke heart slightly overlapping in lines along width of dough. Continue forming rows of mozzarella, salami and artichoke heart until surface is covered. Sprinkle generously with olive oil, and season to taste with black pepper.
3. Bake at 220°C/425°F for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 190°C/375°F and bake for 10 minutes longer or until cheese is bubbling and crust golden brown. Remove from oven and rest briefly before serving.
