Artichoke And Pepper Gratin
|Onion||2 Ounce, peeled, finely chopped|
|Green pepper||1 Medium, cored, seeded and finely chopped|
|Artichoke||22 Ounce, drained (2 Cans 11 Ounce Each)|
|Edam cheese||2 Ounce, grated|
|White breadcrumbs||2 Ounce (Fresh)|
Melt the margarine in a frying pan. Add the onion and green pepper and fry until softened. Place 2 or 3 artichoke fronds in six well-greased individual ovenproof dishes and pile the pepper mixture on top. Combine the cheese, breadcrumbs and paprika and scatter a little over each serving. Bake in a preheated very hot oven (230°C/450°F, Gas Mark 8) for 10 minutes.
