Artichoke Hearts Piquant

Ingredients
  Carrots 2 , sliced
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salad oil 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon 1 , juiced
  Bay leaf 1 Small
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic salt 1 Dash
  Frozen artichoke hearts 9 Ounce (1 Package)
Directions

Put all ingredients except artichokes in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil and boil for about 5 minutes.
Add artichokes and cook until tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
Drain and serve.
