Baked Fontina Cheese With Marinated Artichokes

Ingredients
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, softened
  Marinated artichokes 6 Ounce (1 Jar)
  Fontana cheese/Gruyere / swiss 8 Ounce
  Crusty italian bread 1
Directions

1. Preheat oven to 475°. Generously butter a small heatproof platter or 9-inch glass pie dish.
2. Drain artichokes, discarding juices. Place artichokes in center of platter. Arrange overlapping slices of cheese in concentric circles on top.
3. Bake for 4 to 5 minutes, or until cheese begins to color around edges. Using two spoons, scoop up some of cheese with artichokes and transfer to individual warmed serving plates. Serve immediately, with crusty bread.
