Apricot Cinnamon Grumble
|Canned apricots||6 Ounce|
|Soft brown sugar||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Butter||1 1⁄2 Ounce (At Room Temperature)|
|Wholemeal flour||3 Ounce|
|Rolled oats||1 Tablespoon|
|Soft brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
Heat the oven to 350Â°F (Gas Mark 4, 180Â°C).
Butter a small baking dish and arrange the apricots in it with about one tablespoon of their syrup.
Sprinkle them with soft brown sugar, cinnamon and ground ginger.
Then make the topping: rub the butter into the flour and when it is crumbly, mix in the oats and soft brown sugar.
Arrange the crumble mixture lightly over the apricots, sprinkle a teaspoon of cinnamon on top and bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the top is golden and crispy.
Serve slightly warm with cream.
