Spread each Sweet Dessert Manicotti with 1 teaspoon preserves.
On a large platter or serving tray, place 8 manicotti, preserve-side up.
Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon chopped walnuts.
Place remaining 8 manicotti over nuts, preserve-side up.
Top each with 1 scoop of ice cream.
Pipe whipped cream around the scoops of ice cream.
Sprinkle each with an additional 1 teaspoon chopped walnuts.
Garnish with half a maraschino cherry.
