Apricot Refrigerator Rounds

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Almond extract 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Finely chopped dried apricots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Finely chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Cream together butter and brown sugar till light.
Blend in egg and almond extract.
Stir together flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into creamed mixture.
Stir in apricots and nuts.
Shape into two rolls 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Wrap in waxed paper.
Chill well.
Cut in 1/2 inch slices; place on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake at 350° for about 10 minutes.
