Frosted Chocolate Apricot Ring

Ingredients
  Vanilla essence 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Self raising flour 1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)
  Chocolate bits 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Glazed apricot 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
For chocolate frosting
  Butter 60 Gram
  Icing sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cocoa 1 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Prepare as for basic butter cake but sift cocoa with the flour.
Stir Choc Bits and apricots into mixture.
Bake in moderate oven for about 45 minutes.
Chocolate Frosting: Beat butter in small bowl with electric mixer until creamy, gradually add sifted icing sugar and cocoa, then milk; beat until spreadable.
Spread over cold cake.
