Broiled Brandied Apricots

  Canned apricot halves 16 Ounce (1 Can, Undrained)
  Cinnamon stick 3 Inch
  Vegetable cooking spray 1
  No sugar added apricot spread 7 Teaspoon (2 Tablespoon Plus 1 Teaspoon)
  No sugar apricot spread 7 Teaspoon (2 Tablespoon Plus 1 Teaspoon)
  Brandy 1⁄2 Teaspoon

Drain apricots, reserving 1/2 cup juice.
Combine juice, 1/4 cup brandy, and cinnamon stick in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Remove and discard cinnamon stick.
Pour mixture over apricots; cover and chill.
Drain apricots, and arrange in an 8-inch square baking dish that has been coated with cooking spray.
Combine apricot spread and 1/2 teaspoon brandy.
Fill each apricot half with 1/2 teaspoon mixture.
Sprinkle wtrh nutmeg, if desired, and broil 6 inches from heat 5 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
