Applesauce Pork Loaf
|Egg||1 , slightly beaten|
|Soft bread crumbs||1 Cup (16 tbs) (1 1/4 Bread Slices)|
|Canned applesauce||8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chopped onion||2 Tablespoon (Fresh Or Frozen)|
|Dijon style mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Snipped parsley||1 Teaspoon|
|Pork sausage||1⁄2 Pound (Bulk)|
|Fully cooked ham||1⁄2 Pound, ground|
|Packed brown sugar||1 Tablespoon|
Preheat oven to 350Â°.
In bowl combine egg, crumbs, 1/2 cup applesauce, onion, 1 teaspoon mustard, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Add meats; mix well.
Shape into a round loaf 8 inches in diameter in a baking pan.
With a spoon, make a depression in top of the loaf.
Combine the remaining applesauce, brown sugar, vinegar, and remaining mustard; pour into depression.
Bake at 350Â° for 1 hour.
Makes 4 servings.
