This Applesauce Meatballs surprises you with the flavors packed into it. For those who loves the strong taste of the deadly combination of beef and applesauce, this is defintely the dish for you. Try this Applesauce Meatballs for once, I bet, you will get a lot of compliments for this one!!
  Ground round 2 Pound
  Uncooked instant rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped onion 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Canned applesauce 16 Ounce (1 Can Of 16 Ounce)
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ketchup 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)

Combine the ground round, rice, onion, applesauce, salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well.
Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and arrange so that sides are not touching in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Pour a mixture of the ketchup and water over the meatballs.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
