|Cooking apples||8 Medium, peeled, cored and thinly sliced|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Combine apples and water in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Cover with plastic wrap.
Microwave at HIGH 6 to 8 minutes, or until apples are tender.
Stir to break the apples apart.
Add desired amount of sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
