Ingredients
  Cooking apples 8 Medium, quartered (peeled, cored)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

1. Combine apples and water in 2-quart glass casserole. Cover with glass lid or plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on HIGH for 10 to 12 minutes or until apples are tender. Stir in sugar; let stand, covered, 2 to 3 minutes to dissolve sugar. Stir before serving.
