Old Fashioned Applesauce
|Apples||4 Medium, pared, quartered and cored|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar/Packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Heat apples and water in 3-quart saucepan to boiling over medium heat.
Reduce heat; simmer, stirring occasionally to break up apples, until apples are tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
Stir in sugar; heat to boiling.
