Applesauce Topper

Ingredients
  Canned applesauce 8 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)
  Red cinnamon candies 3 Tablespoon
  Vanilla ice cream 1 Quart, softened
  Cake slices 2 (Angel)
Directions

In saucepan combine applesauce, cinnamon candies, and food coloring.
Heat till candy is dissolved.
Cool.
Stir cooled applesauce mixture into softened ice cream.
Spoon into 9x9x2-inch pan.
Freeze applesauce mixture at least 6 hours or overnight.
