|Granny smith apples||3 1⁄2 Pound, peeled, cored, and sliced|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (packed)|
|Fresh lemon juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. In a 3 1/2-quart electric slow cooker, toss together the apples, brown sugar, and lemon juice.
2. Cover and cook on the high heat setting 3 hours, or until the apples are very tender. Mash up the apples with a potato masher. Stir in the cinnamon.
