Applesauce Snacking Cake

  Sweetened applesauce 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  100% bran 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Nabisco Brand)
  99% real egg product 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Egg Beaters Brand)
  Light molasses 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), brere rabbit brand
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Baking soda 1 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened (Fleischmann's Brand)
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)

In medium bowl, mix applesauce, bran, Egg Beaters® and molasses; let stand 5 minutes.
In small bowl, blend flour, baking soda and cinnamon; set aside.
In large bowl, with electric mixer at medium speed, beat sugar and margarine until creamy.
Beat in bran mixture until smooth.
Blend in flour mixture; stir in raisins.
Spread batter evenly in ungreased 15 x10 x1 inch baking pan.
Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar if desired; cut into 48 bars.
