Pickled Crab Apples

Ingredients
  Crab apples 4 Quart
  Vinegar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Brown sugar 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Whole cloves 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon stick 2
  Whole allspice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Wash crab apples and remove blossom end.
Do not pare.
Combine remaining ingredients and simmer together 20 minutes.
Add apples a few at a time and simmer until tender.
Pack apples in hot sterilized jars adding sirup to cover apples.
Seal.
