|Cake mix||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Swift'ning Make Your Own mix)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Finely shredded tart apples||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Make a well in the Mix.
Add milk and stir with a fork (25 strokes).
Turn onto a sheet of waxed paper.
Knead well 6 times.
Roll out dough on a lightly floured pastry cloth or board into an 8x8 inch square.
Spread with butter.
Spread apples, sugar, and cinnamon over dough.
Roll up as for jelly roll.
Cut into 1 inch slices.
Place cut side up in a pan (8x8x2 inches) (rubbed with Swift'ning).
Bake in a hot oven.
Baking temperature: 450Â° F.
Bake: 20 minutes.
