Cinnamon Glazed Apples
|Strawberry banana gelatin||6 Ounce (2 Packages, 3 Ounce Each, Or 1 Package Of 6 Ounce Jell-O)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Apple juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cinnamon stick||2 Inch|
|Lemon slices||3 (1/4 Inch Thick)|
|Baking apples/1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon.||6 Medium, peeled and cored|
Combine gelatin, water, apple juice, cinnamon stick, and lemon slices in medium skillet.
Bring to a boil, stirring until gelatin is dissolved.
Add apples; cover and simmer 15 minutes, or until almost tender, turning once and basting occasionally.
Remove from heat.
Cool apples in syrup; removecinnamonstickand lemonslices.
Place apples in 6 custard cups or serving dishes and top with syrup.
Chill until set about 1 hour.
