Apple Hors D'Oeuvre

|Heavy cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
1 Squeeze the lemon and reserve the juice. Wash the celery and chop it into fine strips.
2 Peel the cucumber, split it in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Sprinkle both halves with salt, to remove the excess moisture.
3 Wash and dry the lettuce leaves. Wash and dry the tomatoes and then quarter them. Wash the chives and the chervil; dry and chop them.
4 In a bowl beat together the cream, lemon juice and paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
5 Rinse and dry the cucumber and cut it into small cubes. Peel and core the apples and dice them.
6 Put the cucumber, apples, celery and tomatoes into a dish. Pour the cream sauce over and stir it in.
7 Wash and scrape the radishes. Cut them into flower shapes.
8 Line the sides and bottom of a salad bowl with the lettuce leaves. Arrange the salad in the center. Sprinkle with the chopped: chives and chervil, and decorate with the radishes. Serve chilled.
