Apple | 3 , cored and thinly sliced | |
Cinnamon | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Lemon rind | 1 Teaspoon | |
Nutmeg | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
Brown sugar | 35 Gram , divided (2 tbsp + 1 tsp.) | |
Fresh lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
For the crust | ||
Frozen puff pastry sheets | 1 1/2 , cut in squares | |
Melted butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
For greasing | ||
Cooking spray | 2 Dash |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray and set aside.
MAKING
2. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients for the filling.
3. Place the pastry squares over the prepared muffin tin and grease with butter. Top with the apple mixture and sprinkle with the remaining brown sugar.
4. Bake in the oven for 25 – 30 minutes.
SERVING
5. Serve apple cuplettes with vanilla ice cream.
