Skillet Spiced Apples

  Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon
  Ground cloves 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cooking apples 4 Medium
  Orange marmalade 2 Tablespoon

Combine vegetable oil and cloves in a medium bowl; add apples, stirring well to coat slices.
Fry apples, covered, in a large skillet over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove cover; stir in marmalade and continue cooking, uncovered, 3 to 5 minutes.
