1. Set up a solar cooker with a clay bowl with lid within a larger glass bowl and place on a reflector.
2. Core the apples.
3. Stuff the core with pecans and brown sugar and top with butter.
4. Place the apples in the clay pot and replace the lid.
5. Let it sit in the sun and cook for 3 hours and 45 minutes.
6. Sprinkle cinnamon and top with some more butter. Serve with pecan ice cream on the side.
