Apple And Cinnamon Flapjacks

Ingredients
  Low fat spread 3 1⁄2 Ounce (e.g. St Ivel 'Gold', 100 g)
  Dark muscovado sugar 2 3⁄4 Ounce (75 g)
  Golden syrup 2 Tablespoon
  Porridge oats 6 Ounce (175 g)
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Dried apple chunks 2 3⁄4 Ounce, chopped into bite-size pieces (75 g)
  Raisins/Currants 1 Ounce (25 g)
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat gas oven to 170°C.
2. In a square tin line greaseproof baking paper.

MAKING
3. In a heavy based saucepan add low fat spread, syrup and sugar.
3. Heat over medium flame. Keep stirring to melt and blend the ingredients well.
4. Mix cinnamon, currants, apple pieces, raisins and oats.
5. Pour the mixture in the tin.
6. Bake 15 minutes.
7. Cool and cut in 12 squares.

SERVING
8. Serve apple and cinnamon flapjacks as a dessert.
