1) Pare the apples, core and thinly slice them.
2) In a skillet, add the sliced apples, butter and sugar together.
3) Cover and saute over a medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning the apples 1 or 2 times.
4) Pour in the wine and simmer, covered, until the apples are tender.
5) Serve the Grilled Apple Slices in dessert plates.
