Beet and Apple Skillet

Ingredients
  Onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Beets/1 can (16-ounces) sliced, drained beets 6 Medium, fresh ones cooked and sliced
  Apples 2 Medium, cored and chopped
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground nutmeg 1 Dash
Directions

MAKING
1. In saucepan cook onion in butter till tender.
2. Add beets and apples and cook with cover slowly till apples are tender.
3. Add salt and ground nutmeg.

SERVING
4. Mix the Beet and Apple Skillet into salads or serve as desired.
