|Tart apples||4 , peeled, cored and sliced|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground allspice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Low fat granola||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a large frying pan, combine the apples, water, raisins, lemon juice, cinnamon and allspice.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, for 20 minutes, or until the apples are tender.
If the water boils away, add a bit more to keep the apples from sticking.
Coat a 9" pie plate with no-stick spray.
Add the apple mixture.
Sprinkle with the granola.
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.
