Apple Acorn Crisp

Ingredients
  Granny smith apples 6 , peeled, cored and chopped
  Cooked acorn squash 3 Cup (48 tbs), seeds removed, scooped (1 1/2 Squash)
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon zest 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1 Tablespoon
  Pumpkin spice/1/3 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/3 teaspoon ginger, 1/3 teaspoon cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 1 Tablespoon
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (1 Stick, At Room Temperature)
  Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Brown sugar/Cane sugar / half and half 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whole oats 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Mix above ingredients in a bowl, then spread in baking pan (9x13 give or take).

Mix above ingredients until a crumbled consistency. Cover topping over apple mixture. Place in 350 preheated oven for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown and sides are bubbling. Using a fork, check that apples are tender. Remove from oven to cool to room temp. Will serve 12+. Refrigerate if crisp will not be eaten within a couple days.
