Baked Apples With Honey

Ingredients
  Baking apples 4
  Honey 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Grated lemon rind/Orange rind 1 Teaspoon
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 375 °F.

MAKING
2. In baking dish, place apples after washing and coring.
3. In a cup combine the honey with the water and grated rind.
4. Over the apples pour the syrup and bake, covered, for 30 minutes, basting two or three times.
5. Uncover, baste again and bake for 15 minutes more such that tender.

SERVING
6. Serve hot with the desired garnish.
