Apple Slump

Ingredients
  Rhode island greening apples 6 Large
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sifted all purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Peel and core apples and slice into large skillet.
Add water and sugar, cover, and cook over medium heat until apples are almost tender.
Make biscuit dough with remaining ingredients.
Pat out into round the size of skillet.
Place dough on top of apples, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until dough is cooked.
To serve, turn bottom side up on chop plate.
Pass cinnamon sugar and heavy cream.
