Red Cinnamon Crab Apple
|Crab apples||4 (With Stems)|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Red hot cinnamon candies||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Pack the crab apples in sterilized jars.
Combine the water, sugar and candies in a saucepan and boil until candies are melted, then pour over apples.
Place the lids on the jars and screw tightly.
Place on a rack in a container deep enough to allow water to come 2 inches above the jar tops.
Process in boiling water for 20 minutes.
Remove jars from water and cool away from drafts.
