Stuffed Cinnamon Apples
|Tart apples||6 Medium|
|Red cinnamon candies||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pitted dates||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Canned pineapple tidbits||9 Ounce, drained (1 Can, 1 Cup)|
|Chopped california walnuts||2 Tablespoon|
Pare and core apples.
Cook candies in water till dissolved.
Add apples and cook slowly, uncovered, till just tender, about 15 to 20 minutes.
Turn once during cooking.
Chill apples in syrup several hours; turn once while chilling.
Blend cream cheese, milk, and lemon juice.
Add dates, pineapple, and nuts.
Drain apples, place on greens.
Stuff centers with cream-cheese mixture.
