|Baking apples||4 Medium|
|Canned sweet potatoes||8 Ounce, drained and mashed (1 Can)|
|Brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
|Maple syrup||3 Tablespoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Slivered almonds||3 Tablespoon|
Wash and core apples; remove enough pulp to make the opening about 2" wide.
Chop the pulp and mix with remaining ingredients except 1 tbsp.
Wrap a 7" square of aluminum foil around bottom and sides of each apple.
Fill cavities with sweet potatoinixture; stud with remaining almonds.
