Pickled Apple Slices

Ingredients
  Canned apple slices 20 Ounce (1 Can Of 1 Pound, 4 Ounce)
  Vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Mixed pickling spice 1 Tablespoon
  Lemon 1⁄2 , sliced thin
  Golden raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Drain liquid from apples into saucepan.
Add vinegar, water, sugar, spice, and lemon.
Bring to a boil, and add apples and raisins.
Simmer for three minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand overnight before using.
