Country Apple Dessert
|Yellow cake mix||15 Ounce (1 Package, Pillsbury Brand)|
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), softened|
|Canned apple pie filling||21 Ounce (1 Can Fruit Filling)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Heat oven to 350Â°F.
In large bowl, combine cake mix, margarine and 1 egg at low speed until crumbly.
Press in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan; spread with apple pie filling.
Combine brown sugar, walnuts and cinnamon; sprinkle over apple filling.
In small bowl, blend sour cream, 1 egg and vanilla; spoon evenly over sugar mixture.
Bake at 350Â°F for 40 to 50 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Serve warm or cool.
