Apple Slump

Ingredients
  Apples 6 Cup (96 tbs), sliced (peeled 6 medium ,)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Refrigerated buttermilk biscuits 5 Ounce (pillsbury)
Directions

In large saucepan, combine apple slices, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and water.
Heat to boiling.
Separate biscuits; place on top of apples.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are no longer doughy.
Invert biscuits; spoon biscuits and apples into dessert dishes.
Spoon cooking liquid over biscuits.
Serve with cream, if desired.
