Wassail Bowl

Ingredients
  Orange 1 Medium, halved
  Whole cloves 10
  Claret 2 4⁄5 Quart
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cinnamon stick 4 Inch
Directions

Stud orange halves with cloves.
In a saucepan mix orange halves, claret, sugar, and cinnamon.
Cover; simmer about 15 minutes.
Remove cinnamon and orange halves.
Serve punch hot in small bowl.
