Stuffed Apple Wedges
|Cream cheese||3 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Shredded swiss cheese/Shredded cheddar cheese||2 Ounce (1/2 Cup)|
|Chopped walnuts/Chopped peanuts||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||2 Tablespoon|
Bring cheeses to room temperature.
Beat cheeses together till well blended.
Stir in nuts.
Chill till needed.
Cut each pear or apple in half lengthwise.
With knife tip, remove stem ends.
With melon bailer, remove center of core.
Fill hole with cheese mixture; flatten so filling will be even with cut surface of fruit.
Place cut side down on board; with sharp knife, cut each half into 4 wedges.
Combine lemon juice and water; brush over cut surfaces of fruit to prevent browning.
