Apple Macaroon Dessert
|Sliced peeled apples||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pecans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Coconut||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Sifted flour||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Sweetened whipped cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sweetened|
Arrange apples in 9" pie plate.
Combine 1/2 c.sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Top with pecans and coconut.
Cream butter until fluffy.
Gradually beat in 1/2 c.sugar.
Add egg, flour and vanilla; mix well.
Spread over apple mixture.
Bake in 350° oven 30-35 minutes or until top is golden brown.
