Apple Nut Crisp

Ingredients
  Apples 4 Large, peeled, cored, and sliced (Yellow Or Red Delicious, Fuji, Or Gala)
  Golden raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Coarsely chopped walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Apple pie spice/1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1 Teaspoon
  Unsalted margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted
  Sugar substitute/2 tablespoons granulated fructose 1 Tablespoon (Brown Or White)
  Crushed shredded wheat/Crushed shredded wheat and bran squares 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  All purpose flour 1 1⁄2 Tablespoon
Directions

Layer about a third of the apple slices on the bottom of an 8- or 9-inch pie plate.
Sprinkle with spice, half of the raisins, and half of the walnuts.
Repeat for the second layer and then top with the rest of the apple slices.
For the topping, pour melted margarine into a small bowl.
Stir in sugar substitute of your choice.
In a bowl, whisk together the crushed shredded wheat, flour, and walnuts.
Add the melted mixture and mix with your hands until well coated.
Spread evenly over the top of the apples.
Preheat oven to 350° and bake for 60 minutes or until apples are done and top is browned.
Do not overcook apples.
The top will be crispy-crunchy
