|Tart apples||4 1⁄2 Cup (72 tbs), finely chopped (unpeeled)|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fruit pectin package||1 , powdered|
|Sugar||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|Walnuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
Combine apples, water, lemon juice and raisins in kettle.
Add fruit pectin; stir well.
Place over high heat and bring to a full boil.
Stirring constantly, stir in sugar.
Bring to a full boil again.
Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Stir in nuts.
Remove from heat.
Skim and stir 5 minutes.
Ladle into hot, sterilized jars to within 1/2 inch from top.
Adjust jar lids.
Process in boiling water bath 10 minutes
