Baked Apple Dessert
|Baking apples||7 , peeled, cored and thickly sliced|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Dark brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Unsweetened pineapple juice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Finely chopped pineapple/Canned crushed pineapple||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Fresh)|
|Chopped walnuts||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place the apple slices in a well-buttered deep pie plate. Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar over all. Pour the juice over the apples and spoon the pineapple over all.
3. Sprinkle the walnuts over the top and bake for 40 minutes. Cool and chill.
