Asparagus With Apples

Ingredients
  Asparagus tips 16 (Fresh)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Apple 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch
  Cinnamon 1 Pinch
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Peel asparagus.
Trim away and reserve heads.
In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, blanch asparagus stems 2 minutes.
Remove from saucepan.
Rinse under running cold water.
Drain.
Dice stems.
In a frying pan, melt butter.
Cook diced asparagus, apple, garlic and seasonings 5 minutes or so.
Meanwhile, blanch asparagus heads 4 minutes or so.
Rinse under running cold water.
Drain.
Divide asparagus and apple mixture among 4 plates.
Garnish each serving with 4 asparagus heads.
