|Apples||3 Cup (48 tbs), pared and sliced|
|Apple concentrate||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Grated lemon rind||1|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Tablespoon|
Spread a third of the Granola on the bottom of a buttered baking dish.
Saute apples in butter.
Mix apples, apple concentrate, water, spices, grated rind, and juice.
Put half of this mixture in the granola-lined dish, then cover with half of the remaining granola.
Add the remaining fruit mixture and top with remaining granola.
Pour melted butter on top and press lightly with hands.
Cover and bake at 350° for a half hour.
