1. Wash, core, and halve apples. Place in glass baking dish. Stuff apples with 1 tablespoon raisins and sprinkle with apple juice or fill cavity with applesauce.
2. Cover the bottom of the dish with 1/4 inch water.
3. Sprinkle apples with cinnamon.
4. Cook, covered, in oven at 400Â° until apples are tender, 30 to 60 minutes.
