Born in the year 1970 in Providence, Rhode Island, America Chef Dufresne obtained the graduate degree of The French Culinary Institute in New York followed by a B.A. degree in the year 1992 in philosophy from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. Between 1994 and 1999 he worked with Jean-Georges Vongerichten, eventually going on to be named sous chef.
